They cut away quicker this time, but it's still noticeable for the average viewer.

A picture of a golfer also appeared on the screen in the background. Would this be the automation trying to go to the next story or is it normal to have the picture for the next story on the screen when it can't be seen?

That's a fairly normal thing to do. Much better to put it on the screen beforehand than do it at the same time as everything else at the start of the next item

They just played the waiting for BBC One Countdown at the top of the hour I don't think its simulacasting on any bbc channels?

It isn't really typical of the BBC it's just typical of new moves. When Sky moved into there new home there were often mistakes. It's just new equipment which will take a while to get used to.

They're not typical of the bbc. they didn't have camera problems at TVC
