No - I think originally Short Change was just shot using camcorders - rather than a live production gallery in an OB truck parked by East Tower. Might be wrong. Not sure about the more recent Elstree ones.

But yes, it was filmed single camera - no OB truck required...

Getting back to the original questions. I recall years ago when BBC News moved to W12 that the biggest issue was getting lazy MPs and other Government spokespeople to get "all the way to Shepherds Bush" (what an effort for the poor people) to be interviewed on Today and PM etc to put their various points to the Nation.

No doubt it will be easier for these people to entertain us with their notions once BBC News moves back to W1A and they can take in a bit of west end shopping on their way back to Westminster. - All political I suspect.


They opened Millbank for that. Now its just a short walk for Tony's Cronies, Hoodie Huggers, Mings lot etc.
