So I was watching the 1330 Midlands Today bulletin and Sarah Falkland looked like a rabbit caught in headlights out of a VT, where you could hear the talkback wittering away in the background and she says: "Some breaking news, just in... errrr.. *silence* 'there's no report!' [from the talkback] and erm I'm sorry I can't bring you that report at the minute, now onto errr...." and wasted about 45 seconds of airtime stuttering, there was some slight confusion after the next report did materialise and by the end of the programme she was doing her best Kerplunk impression and speeding through the outro script!
I thought it was interesting, anybody know what happened?
