Looks like Suzanne Virdee, has been getting behind one of the local consortiums after a local TV licence. Hosting Stratford TV's PPC debate live online and now can be viewed on catch up.

Can be viewed here - http://www.stratfordtv.tv/playlist/LT2gy

I believe Stratford-Upon-Avon will be one of the second batch of licences available.

The MT Christmas Tree is up!

It's digital, yes, but it's up! And it looks scarily okay for a digital one, wouldn't miss some kind of physical tree somewhere...

Anyone noticed subtle changes this week?

Shefali appearing by the main screen at the top of the show.

A time check at roughly 645, with a 'Coming Up' sequence similar to Network/NC.

(By the way, the 'Coming Up' caption needs to be over to the left hand side!)

The report on the stabbings of the homeless Big Issue sellers on Friday night was done by Rebecca Wood, who is currently Friday's answer to Shefali.

Are they short of reporters, so they've got the weather girl doing it or what?
(This report has been going out nationally on the NC too today)

Seems to be a trend to have the Friday weather presenters also do reporting and presenting - here in Yorkshire Keeley now does the Friday weather plus often presents on Saturday (including handing to the weather forecaster on duty!) and during the week. Suspect Rebecca (who was a news reporter at BBC Stoke prior to joining Midlands Today) will do the same.

I keep thinking 'Sophie Ellis Bextor' when I see Rebecca.

Looks like they will be throwing live to Paul Franks in the BBC WM studios in a few minutes.

Discussing Aston Villa probably.

A long-serving BBC presenter who quit the Corporation claiming there was a 'poisonous atmosphere' of bullying has been awarded a cash payout from bosses.
Suzanne Virdee, who hosted the popular evening news programme Midlands Today, walked out after 11-years at the BBC last March.

I wonder if this will be featured on Midlands Today, today?
