Pat Burns didnt trail the show on Friday's MT as usual, because its normally recorded on Friday afternoon.
I suppose the one way to find out would be if he mentions Andrew Mitchell, as that story broke on air around 630pm after the show would have been recorded.

Firstly via Mark Powlett Show Facebook, then later on tonights MT, the suicide of BBC C&W journo Russell Joslin, son of former Warks Chief Constable Peter Joslin.
Secondly, according to a report in tonights Express & Star, 'Auntie' Kay Alexander is retiring next week.
