Very nice - has turned out better than I expected. Even though the screens look a bit small it doesn't make the studio look too claustrophobic. And the one presenter shots look decent enough - and it's worth having smaller screens to having a moving background rather than those cheap 90s light boxes that other regions have ended up with.
Also prefer the titles - especially ending on the Rotunda. Although the road sign shot in the titles looks a bit wobbly, I prefer much to the useless one before it which was a railway departure board that simply had several lines of Warwick Parkway.
Yes, very good and very creative for such a small space.

Ison, how many Kays do we award this one? Remember 2003 got 4.5 Kays out of 5....

A definite change - less blue, more muted, the rear walls more creamy-beige in colour.
I found lunchtime more preferable - but it will be interesting to see the late bulletin.

I prefer the lower-thirds to the network ones

The red and cream looks a bit retro, but overall it looks good and much better than the dingy N6 knock off that Leeds have got.
On the point about Shefali standing right next to the baking tray, have you noticed where the weather forecaster stands in N6 and TC7?

Well in front of the screens, but they have the room in those studios! Poor Matt Taylor looks miniscule when he does the weather from TC7.

Is that a genuine copy of the autocue in the monitor cluster or is it just guessing the speed at which they're scrolling through it?

Isn't it more to do with making it easier to light so there are fewer shadows on the screen?
