I noticed there isn't a permanent thread for NE & C so here we are.
I also notice that at lunchtime they cocked up supreme, with Colin Briggs reading the usual lunchtime headlines while the national titles were played out. Obviously the gallery were told it was just a regular lunchtime (weekday) bulletin.
They loaded the wrong report on the nightime bulletin as well. Loaded one about snow for a story about a sexual assault. Took them surprisingly long to realise!
not surprised....bear in mind they are the region which had a cheapo makeover

sorry but i was meaning the cheapo new look as in titles whereas the set is okay...its like that time when look north leeds mish-mashed bbclondon/network themes with the standard revamped regional02 titles and music/themes.....
it seems to me that Look North Newcastle is the only one in the family of LN programmes that seems to have persistant niggly faults which the others don't....mind you LN leeds and hull have moved to new digitally equipped premises...

The new kit is usually the cause of the faults - rather than older, tried and tested kit that everyone knows how to handle
i suppose so but generally with new kit you get a bit more modern technology which allows one to react faster to any problems which may arise - i.e. the wrong vt,etc.
