The lunchtime bulletin was from the Breakfast standing position.

Are Breakfast Bulletins from the Green Studio or from the Balcony?

It's pretty obvious that this isn't a real background.

There is something really odd about that backdrop - It just looks weird the fact that the fake balcony isn't parallel to the actual balcony on the other side of the newsroom. And why do they have to put a virtual pattern over the top of the LED Ring.

I wonder if that's been done because the man was interviewed very tight to his face in the shot?

That could be because from that angle you can see where the video wrapping around ends and starts, so rings fade into nothing and appear from nowhere etc. On the loop of footage they use I suspect it might be noticeable so they replaced it.
