The new BBC London studio has just faded on BBC One analogue. It is like half Eastenders and half empty studio. There is no sound as well.

I quite like the new studio, i just wish they'd sought out the graphics and titles, and then make it the same across the regions

I have to say I do like the new studio by just from watching online.
Seems to have bits from the old nationals studio, and the new.
You've got the big plasma and then the grey 'oven tray' type thing with the red cube on.
Did Riz actually stand up for any of the bulletin, would be good if she stood next to the plasma.

An improvement in some areas, but the box desk looks very poor, a version of the small breakfast one with BBC LONDON written on it would look massively better.

Also the titles, music and graphics package remains unchanged sadly.

Only seen those screengrabs, not on air yet and apart from that red table it does look good.

It's a lot more flexible as they have a big area to have seated guests or that odd red desk. Like where they've put the screen too

Thankfully they've ditched the 1980's teenagers bedroom-like seated area, that did look hideous. This change looks like it has been spurred on by the new editor, surely he can change the horrible titles, music and graphics too?

The background looks quite nice there, just spoiled by a very silly attempt at an uber-cool coffee table.

That red box table makes me think they're about to play Deal Or No Deal. It's the only part of the set I can't stand.

That set made a breif appearance on Eastenders last night.

I think that the whole set looks alot bigger than the previous look, there is less clutter. The only thing i did not like last night was when Riz was walking from the screen to the table, it looked rather messy, especialy as there was a giant step up between her and the screen. I expect the new titles and graphics to be launching soon, you can see that they are already using the software, but are just using there old graphic system for the time being. I don't think the red box looks too bad, it is quite logical really and continues the set design to the look of the desk, something i feel may have been lost by just sticking a desk like that used on Breakfast in front. Overall the set gets my thumbs up.

I noticed in last nights late bulletin Peter did the weather from the screen, i hope this happens alot more instead of sticking him on the roof, it works alot better, especially during times of severe weather.

Is this the studio where "Dateline London" is broadcast - if so, will they add "Dateline" onto the "London" box?
