and a new camera shot by the looks of it, that they have used on the minor (ie after 1 and 10) yesterday, with fosted glass behind the presenter. Is the new look only going to affect BBC London or all the regions. I was looking at the graphics Red Bee introduced today and i much prefer the previous ones or even ITV London Tonight, a nice idea of different pictures but otherwise really basic and simple and who chose that red?

What are you talking about? There are no new graphics on BBC LONDON today. The graphics on today have been in use since December 2005!
Incidentally, the London feed lost audio at the very end of the bulletin, right through the Inside Out London trailer. The sound returned when the sting came in to take us back to N6 for the 6 headlines round-up.

Soz miss wrote it. What i meant was that today I was watching them and thought they were very basic, compared to their ITV rivals and programs from their BBC News family. Are they going to relaunch and if so will all of the regions follow, considering most of the programs (except maybe wales today) have really poor graphics.

Having seen two days of the new look set i am convinced that it is either half finished or a complete bodge of trying to incorporate new elements of the BBC News look with the old BBC London set.
BBC London has aquired a baking tray, hence why the programme is now done sitting down. I notice that the Breakfast bar is still there but has been moved back a little, meaning the glass has also had to be moved back, which gives viewers an even larger view of the messy newsroom behind. I hope that there will be a full relaunch next week to cover up the bodge, but i do not have high hopes. It looks very silly having the programme sat down on office chairs when there is nothing infront of them, would those old PVC red chairs not be better? In my opinion the set which BBC LDN had was the best, with wide shots being far more flexiable. Surely they could have made that corporate without completely bodging it.
By the way in response to the previous message, yes all the regions will get new graphics later this year with the arrival of the Virtz system, which is currently being tested by London, with there old graphics system.

Some further caps of the bodging, from Tuesday nights 6.30 programme:
A shot that is used a lot during the program, the far right corner in view now spoilt by a mixture of frosted, clear and red glass, mixed with red pillar:

Chair number two for the week; one of the white bar stools normally used with the desk/bar thing, now moved to the screen:

The desk/bar thing moved back, the third char of the week, this red number, also the grey baking tray floor replacing the old laminate floor, the modified frosted glass panels behind the bar, now shortened an moved back:

Riz in chair number 3, the red number, where the desk/bar thing used to be placed, also note the frosted panels at the back now have a clear strip running across the bottom of them:

Showing off the new gap the modified panels leave behind the bar in this shot:

A new wipe animation for the news in brief, it moves very fast across the screen from top left to bottom right:

And finally, the live aston which has been very large for a number of months, quite often the old burgundy one used to appear on screen from time to time, so maybe this one was made larger to cover it up?

The Live Bug was adjusted when they started using the Breakfast clock again. In order to achieve this they needed to shorten the name aston slightly hence why the Live bug is now so big. Thank god that is only a temporary measure.
