So who do you think will replace Emily at BBC London. I wonder if they will try to recruit a new presenter, or if they will just use the existing presenter lineup. Maybe Joanna Gosling, she has been presenting more bulletins recently, and has appeared on BBC London on a Friday night, when she is meant to be on News 24. They could take advantage of the situation and fully revamp the programme instead of that half hearted attempt in December.

It will probably be Asad Ahmad, if Gillian Joseph was still there i am sure it would be her however.

With regards to another revamp, i doubt it to be honest, the music has grown on me somewhat, its just the astons and cheapo titles that are the problem imo.

Although i get the impression the second half hour is only on bbc.co.uk/london - from what Emily said at the end!

Intresting i got the impression that it would be an hour long programme on BBC 1 and online, afterall the programme is streamed online anyway. It is only another repeat of Open all Hours on BBC 1, soits not exactly must see programmeing. Also if the programme was just going to be online, it would seem a waste, and there will be a break in the continuity of the programme.

I had a listen to the end online and i conced it does sound like it will be on BBC1 and online.

I think it was just the fact that the online part was plugged quite a lot more than it usually was that made me think it was to be a web exclusive!

I had some extremely bad caps from my mobile of the BBC London debate last week which I've not been able to upload yet - so I'm pleased to have found these two little pics on MTN. For the benefit of those who missed it, or who are interested but live outside the region: the 1830 programme on BBC ONE dipped in and out of the debate, which continued exclusively via RealPlayer streaming through the BBC London website.

And here are the two shots from the debate itself, including the (frankly quite nice) BBC London desk. They should get rid of that stupid breakfast bar in the studio and park the desk in there instead, even if they do insist on the presenters sitting on top of it.

An audience of around 50 people were also at the debate, which appeared to be taking place in a small cinema.

Probably timed his trip just so he could appear on TV. I bet you were just driving round and round past all the cams.
