Just saw the titles over on the other thread and I really like them. Liking the diagonal theme and the horizontal split during the titles.

Umm, I'm rather in two moods about these. Alright the music does sound rather good but the sweep bar (although a diagonal is a good idea) is slightly *Movie Maker*

Does anybody have a clean copy of the BBC London Headline bed before the titles

clean but not the real copy. just got the "Clean" parts off from the earlier File from Bail. and i know it's rather messy put together but if you would be able to provide more files in mp3, i'll try to put them together.

Is it meant to sound like that or was it just a fault?
Either way it was a right mess. I'm sure some inexperienced mockers have done better here on the forum than that.

I am getting used to it, if fact I quite like it,

its like with all things it takes time to get used to new things

Oh dear, somebody was on something when they came up with this monstrosity. Absolutely awful. However, I do like the new music.

I did say I didnt like the music but i guess it has grown on me I think, the music we think was by David Lowe not in association with Music4 this time, and the titles were by Red Bee Media they used to be BBC Broadcast

As mentioned above, there are screengrabs and a video clip on Tv & Radio Bits: http://www.tvradiobits.i12.com/LDN05.rm but the title sequence is diffrent every day .

If you want to see them the best thing to do is to watch the programmes at http://www.bbc.co.uk/london/content/articles/2005/06/03/tvnews.shtml which currently has the last 5 programmes (although I suspect this will get a bit thrown by Christmas!)

I do have to say, both the music and the titles are crap! But I suppose you Londoners couldn't share the same titles with us common people in the north west and had to come up with your own. But look who's laughing now! Ha, ha, ha! Laughing

Wouldn't be so smug (and paranoid!), If history repeats itself, the other regions will get the BBC London style in the next couple of years. After all that's what happened when they brought in their last set of opening titles
