Starting with Newsday at midnight.

So a simulcast of World then, did they do that last time?

Previously a presenter in Singapore anchored.

Isn't Newsday always on at midnight? I also note that BBC World News are using there own graphics - I thought they used the old graphics on overnights, so the NC could overlay the clock and ticker?

1am normally only.

Radio 4's Midnight News is on, shortened to 15 mins.

I'm watching the News channel and we're getting the News channel ones not the World ones.

Be interesting to see if we get any reports produced by Helen Boaden!

No it doesn't look like it, I was watching Newsday a few days ago and the World News graphics against the Clock and NC Ticker looked really unprofessional and looked liked something that would appear on the Gallery here...

Just wait until the 'live' astons appear with the local time...

No UK headlines during the World break. A padded piece with Lucy Hockings featured instead on the NC.

On World it was just promos for upcoming programmes as per usual...

They have some new software in place so that the Lower third remains with the theme the channel is currently using, so when you're watching it on BBC World, all the astons, and the Ticker are in the new style, but if you're watching on the news channel, you still get the same information cued at the exact same time but the old format appears on your screen.

Will GMT, Impact, Global etc. Still air or will it be replaced by BBC World News.

Also is it likely that World will show Na1, Na6 or Na10 as I think they have in the past.

Reporters replaced by Our World.

Locked off camera shot of NBH and closing bed instead of countdown. New style BBC News and Newsday DOG and straps but old ticker.

Some very dodgy graphics at the moment. We're getting the World lower thirds but with the NC ticker. It looks pretty awful.
