Look North again with Harry Gration.

It looked like BBC Yorkshire crashed into the weather with Matt Taylor.

Shorter news has meant BBC One is running about 5 mins ahead of schedule (ie 10.32 rather than 10.37 for the 10.35 programme!!) but EPG hasn't been updated.

Y&L was fine

Right off to listen to some retro Shourjo Sarkar - who I've heard most recently doing overnight news on 5 Live

I can confirm that World News America is airing as normal on BBC World News.

It's on at
2200 GMT until 08/03/2013,
2100 GMT 11/03/2013 - 01/11/2013,
then from 04/11/2013 should be back at 2200 GMT. Always 1700 Eastern (New York).

For UK viewers that's 2200 UK (GMT) until 08/03/2013,
2100 UK (GMT) from 11/03/2013 to 29/03/2013,
2200 UK (BST) from 01/04/2013 until 25/10/2013,
2100 UK (GMT) from 28/10/2013 to 01/11/2013,
2200 UK (GMT) from 04/11/2013.

Providing there aren't bigger changes to the BBC World News schedule by then...

Hope I'm not SKY Plussing tonight?

Surely Sky+ records the programme, not the time?

Three minutes early is not unusual for any show to start, but the BBC do have an annoying habit with last minute schedule changes of moving some shows earlier, which isn't ideal for anyone tuning in specifically for a certain show at a certain time.

Emmmm I think it records the time. There has been instances I've missed the endings of programmes due to them slightly overrunning.

Well that's rather crap for what is presumably the most widely used PVR in the country.

Has it been mentioned who presented North West Tonight?

Was there any regional weather anywhere, or was the lack of weather on Look North due to the scheduled forecaster also being a newsreader and therefore likely a member of the union, either that or weather presenters reluctant to cross picket lines as they've recently faced their own redundancies when creating the regional hubs.

It's a news channel simulcast for BBC World News in the last hour of the strike.
