World News is taking the 1 as well, as was expected.

Surprised he said 'welcome to the BBC news at 1' if it's going out on World.

Trouble with trailers being played out on the News Channel before the news at 1. Audio from one playing over another's end board. They then gave up and went to the countdown.

though there's no lower-thirds at all... not sure about the BBC WN ticker, if it's the "secondary" ticker.


EDIT: ugh, another mismash.

BBC World News is taking the BBC One feed with their graphics, and it overlaying the BBC World News logo and ticker.

Indeed, a mishmash!

He said welcome to the news at 1 even though there was no news at one titles.



Wonder if that had anything to do with the strike, or just an unrelated incident?

Correction: BBC London are playing out The Best of Robert Elms. News and travel were live, although the script only contained one local story, which may suggest they're using the same scripts as the national stations. Sport was pre-rec, along with weather.

The Richard Briers obit looks incredibly well put together to be a last-minute job. Looks like it's been in the can for a while.

At least on national news straps appear only briefly for names.

These 20 minutes from TVC had more mistakes than the whole morning from NBH. Report on strike started with a female voice only to switch to male a few seconds later. Also now wrong name strap for a reporter.
