Why is there hovering 10s, whats the concept that they're going to do?


The concept is called the "Ten O'Clock News". Like when they did the Nine O'Clock News from the election studio in years gone by, but an hour later.

They look like virtual 'plasma/LCDs' supported on virtual frosted acrylic strips - a bit like the bases of the real DTL screens in the News Channel studio.

Looks quite crisp to me, with a strong nod to the W1 look, which would be fitting for the Ten (and the Election as a whole for that matter).

In the run-up to the 2010 election on 6th May, the Ten moved into TC1 on Monday 3rd May.

Are we to assume then, given the caps posted on Twitter, that the Ten will come from Elstree from this Monday?

It isn't about Dimbleby though - it's about hopefully giving another Dave a big send off.
