Yes. News with Reeta and a weather insert from Carol Kirkwood.

Long long trailer for Artsnight on BBC World News; I assume BBC1 was on weather.

Yes Rita threw to Carol Kirkwood with the weather and then Rita handed back to David.

As we have a more decisive result than perhaps expected will BBC One (and Two) continue with election coverage through to 1800? Might seem a little excessive - though we might see three party leaders resign.

iPlayer is bizarrely showing both BBC One and BBC News as being off air until 7am.

I was going to go to bed soon but I might stay up if there's a chance everything will be wrapped up by lunchtime.

That's interesting - Press Association had been advised by the council that they expected to be around 1300.

Even back in the days of quick counts in the 1990s the St Ives count traditionally took much longer than the rest of the UK. 5pm is highly possible.

David Butler appears! An appropriate end to the Dimbleby years.

Louise Minchin taking over the news summaries from Rita - still presenting from studio E at NBH.

I'm in The Netherlands at present. Have access at the hotel to BBC 1, 2, 4/Cbeebs, and World.

I did a few surfs up and down the EPG this morning, and didn't find any of the other channels available here showing any feeds of the three UK election progs. (That's not to say some didn't)

I'm confused why BBC World are showing the domestic BBC1 programme in full. Far too detailed and parochial for an international audience. Unless the intention is to serve ex-pats ? That's not the role of BBC World though, is it ? Or is it now, seeing as licence fee money primarily funds it ?

With a Conservative majority now forecasted will the programme end early? Cameron going to see Queen at lunchtime. No need to continue until 6pm.

I listened to the overnight election programme on Radio 4 and as they were taking a feed from BBC One for the decelerations, they also had the same issues, which led to the programme not being as slick as it usually is.
