BBC coverage has been so amateur and average tonight. Too much going on, too many people speaking over each other, there doesn't seem to be ANY direction. And we've seen Sophie Raworth what - once?

I think Dimbleby is directing the show himself, he threw to Emily and she wasn't ready with any info.

Truly awful. I'm 41, can't recall watching such a poorly directed show. Either there is a Director in the gallery who's losing his mind, or Dimblely is losing his. How many time can the man interrupt his colleagues and everybody else in the process... What is going on there? Shambles.

Great they had Andrew Marr come into the studio to relieve Nick. Added gravitas!

I think it's about time Dimbleby was replaced. He's not sharp enough anymore, he's gaffed so much tonight, whether it be his fault or the fault of technology..

It was announced last year that this is to be his last election.

Yes, fully aware of that hence my post.

Alright, I interpreted it differently.

I highlighted this at the last election he took part in - he's not sharp enough. He's anchoring an election he shouldn't be. He's not an adapter of new technology and has admitted as much. Sadly, he's just not got what he had for so many decades.

Dimbleby is passed it, so is Andrew Neal (what is that on his head?). Both are rude and arrogant to their guests, interrupting to state the obvious such as when Dimbleby stopped one of the pundits to tell us David Cameron was arriving at his count - we could see that David!

I've left BBC coverage, I just found Dimbleby and Neil just weren't cutting it for me.

I'm currently with ITV though that's by far nowhere near perfect but it does seem much more polished than BBC, poor show for them.

I think half the problem is when you've got technological glitches and Dimbleby not knowing if it's supposed to be a glitch or not and too much going on in his ear!

Still, an interesting night....

There's a lack of energy tonight about the show. Can't put my finger on it.

IMO from cluttered busy graphics, Dimbleby & Co. off their game and the overly busy set..... Sadly i must give the BBC GE 2015 a Thumbs down As has been said Dimbleby has done a stellar job over the years. A well deserved retirement from the GE coverage awaits. Hats off.
