Although everytime they announce a Labour victory the Tories will be complaining of bias and making threats to cut them further.
The BBC really should be more of an issue than it is at this election as anybody who values their coverage should only be voting for the party that values national institutions when it comes to the polls on Thursday.
Nice to see BBC Northern Ireland following the national branding for a change, in the past they have usually just done what they wanted in terms of presentation.

The only real national institution we have in this country is Parliament itself. Without that we wouldn't any of the other so-called national institutions that came as a result of Parliament.

I think it looks really well tonight, it puts UTV to shame at what they put on air last week.

Unfortunately their election night set, which was unveiled for the Sunday Politics, bears no resemblance to thr national look whatsoever.

That's actually the normal BBC Newsline studio relit, although the desk does suggest it will double as their election studio this time around too. This seems a bit odd as normally I think they come from a special studio, and it's not like studio space is an issue as they use enough of them! They use four different sets for Sunday Politics (which bears no resemblence to the main set despite being the only programme to use it!), Newsline, The View and Stormont Today (which also uses some old BBC News music as the theme), and I'm fairly sure that all bar Newsline come from a different, fairly big studio.
