Yes, Priya Kaur-Jones, Carol Hinds, Mel Coles and Lindsay Brooke share the breakfast bulletins and luchtime (at least they did when Lisa was away- not sure what will happen now).
Also, interesting to see Lukwesa Burak presenting the 3:20 summary on Tuesday-Thursday. She presented at weekends last summer- perhaps she wants to move into newsreading, à la Lisa Dransfield?
The EMT Election Campaign programme on 05/04/05 at 6.30pm was excellent. I think they've got one of the best formats out of all the regional news programmes for their forthcoming Election programmes. I'm looking forward to their programmes in the run-up to the General Election.
I see Dominic is presenting tonight's (Friday's) 6:30 programme on his own as well. Seems like this has been the case all week then. I wonder if EMT has done a Look North Hull? If it's simply a case of Anne being on holiday, surely they could have just brought in one of the other presenters?

Anne just makes irritating comments. I so prefer Nick and Suzanne and wthMidlands Today, better coverage beter stories better sport.Steve is a gret sports presenter nd great when he fills in for Nick.

Very odd though that all week Anne was off - may be she was "ill"? Last week when she was off for a few days Jo Healey joined Dominic so it seems strange that a single presenter was used all week, especially as she has presented the late news. We can only hope that the programme doesn’t go down the single presenter road…. Though East Mids Today has a habit of demoting 6.30 presenters; Kathy Rotchford, Quentin Rayner, Nick Thatcher so who knows? may be one bender too many?
EMT needs two presenters , the light hearted chatty style disappeared with Dom on his own in that big empty studio. Hopefully it was case of Anne just being away doing her holiday ads job and not anything more sinister.

That is true the older presenetrs such s Kathy hve really been demoted its a shame s i think she is very good, her and Nick were a good pesenting team.
Quentin is lso very good, but we seldom see him presnting the bulleti, normally only when Dominic is away and tht is rare.
Maybe its part of planned cuts for BBC? Theure cutingregional jobs as well rent they?
