Good luck to her, that's all I can say. Who would turn down a job with good pay and less of a commute. That's the way I see it. As for her replacement, I'd go for Louise. Sian Lloyd is barely known on breakfast imo, and is not high profile enough.. Naga is again a good. Choice. But i think Louise will present Monday /friday with someone standing in on weekends until a replacement is found.

Give the gig to Steph McGovern, if nothing else, she's comes over as the best educated of the four of them.

I think either Naga or Steph would be the best choices.

I do like Steph McGovern . . . I'll never forget the time they left on the feed from her mic when she went back into the office 'swearing like a trooper'. It still makes me laugh now! Laughing

BBC Breakfast has never been about the presenters, though. It's the programme format and the fact that it's so closely linked to BBC News that gives it the edge.

Worth noting Susanna isn't down to present this week (Louise Monday-Tuesday, Naga Wednesday-Friday). I think it's likely she's presented Breakfast for the final time.

I think we can almost take it as red that Louise will take over Susanna and present with Bill. Naga will surely be the favourite to present Thu-Sat, but I would choose Steph McGovern - intelligent, great personality, versatile. Accent really shouldn't be a problem, although it clearly is for some people.

If I was the BBC I wouldn't be too concerned about this - I really don't think she's as loved as ITV think she is. Quite frankly, they don't need her.

?? She is a national correspondent and is far more high profile than Louise, Susanna and Sian W were. Who were all on the little watched News channel.

I think Susanna being off next week has more to do with it being half-term and that she might want to spend it with her children.

I'm betting Louise will go Monday to Thursday.

Susanna's bank manager is pretty happy that ITV don't seem to get that. Laughing

Just as a note the main posts about Susanna have been moved to the dedicated thread. I've tried to leave ones largely speculating about successors on the BBC programme here.

Who presented the programme this morning? As I presume Ms Reid has been removed from presenting duties.

Louise has been on today with Bill. But I think this was planned anyway as it is half term.

Thanks for that. Cant see Susanna being allowed to return to the breakie sofa now.

Why? Because of unconfirmed rumours?
