If people were looking at the forum for the first time they'd thing we are bunch of wallys I know people on here who thinks I am a Wally and there are days where quite frankly I am an idiot.

This happens about once every few months for the 'Spotlight' Breakfast bulletins in the South West. It's never explained whether it's a transmission problem, or just the presenter not turning up on time.

I must ask my contact, who works there (and occasionally does the 'Spotlight Breakfast' weather reports) whether there is a connection problem with getting the link to London/Salford.

Most regions lose an occasional breakfast opt because one of the skeleton staff required to put it on air has overslept or had problems getting into work.

I doubt it's a problem with the line that goes from Plymouth out to the distribution, it's no different at breakfast to any other regional bulletin
