I think North West tonight use that studio if so, where do they film there breakfast updates from?

They have a second studio which the opt for the Sunday Politics also uses.

You can see it about half-way down this page.

One could be sceptical and say that it may be just in case there was bad news this morning about Nelson Mandela. They were both dressed in black.

Louise did last Sunday, so it's not completely out of the ordinary. Tim, Jon or Roger might have been unavailable. Weird to wake up to them this morning!

Louise did do last Sunday but that was unusual as well, and apparently because she'd swapped with Naga.

Who was billed in the Radio Times for today?

Tim Muffett and Sian Lloyd, who of course was there to do the news on Andrew Marr. Talk about disorientating your audience, seeing Bill on a weekend. I assume he was called in "just in case".

Reminds me of a few years back when Huw Edwards did the Saturday teatime news and there was a bit of excitement as to why he was there, assuming he was standing by for something major.

Sunday Breakfast isn't even just the weekend, it's a Sunday, where not even the secondary team appear.

Yeah that's when they thought Gordon Brown was going to resign

Why do they use the new 'coming up' sequence at 6.30am but still use the older version at 7.30 and 8.30?

Very sad news. From Twitter comments, she seemed a very well liked person in the newsroom. She's done a phenomenal job with Breakfast's move to Salford from London, with the programme in great form.
