I'm fine with the clock being 4:3 safe, just wish there wasn't a huge stripe of colour hanging off the edge of the screen!


NE & Cumbria have the logo in the bottom left permanently and so have a red bar across the full lower screen.

Have Breakfast now totally scrapped the new 'coming up' graphic with the 'pulsating time' (for want of a better phrase) and reverted to the more traditional lower third strap instead or do I just keep missing it? Funny, when they launched the new graphics the other week, I thought then that the new 'flashy' graphic wasn't really in keeping with Breakfast, I could however see it being used on Daybreak.

Carol's out in some woods for the weather this morning - except the sat truck wasn't quite ready in time for the 0620 forecast, so there was a prerecorded Ben Rich forecast instead. And the heavy rain and lots of bluebells in shot have been confusing the coder, so it's not looking brilliant on air either...
