Could they knock the front part of the studio wall down and enlarge it?

And I'm surprised the breakfast studio can fit a jib inside! Shocked

It's not a jimmy jib (type used by ITN, TC7 and NBH) it's a minijib similar, but not the same as something like this.

No hot head but still allows for some nice moves. Key with any grip of this style is good foreground.

Haha! Laughing I never meant to say that to make the ceiling higher I meant the width of the studio! I now fully understand they can't do that Very Happy But on a more serious question is there any other studio breakfast could go to for more space? or if their normal studio was experiencing technical difficulties and could not be used? or maintenance?

As far as I know if the studio fails completely, Breakfast can come from the NWT 'Pres' studio as a temporary measure. This is 100% a last resort... there's plenty of other measures in place to enable broadcasting from SQ2 regardless of technical problems.

That might add too much gravitas to the show Wink

So, when will Breakfast adopt the new BBC News graphics? Monday morning or Tuesday?

I'd go for Tuesday based on the NC still coming from N6 until 1pm on Monday.

Apparently, there's something new to look forward to on Breakfast from Monday morning, courtesy of graphic designer James Mobbs on Twitter. He's ruled out new titles, I'm going for a new backdrop. It's the only new big thing that I can think of!

If you read his tweet carefully, he says "in the coming weeks" - so not necessarily Monday morning.

A more recent tweet (which seems to have been deleted) said watch Breakfast from this Monday for something new, words to that effect.

More importantly, what do we all think it could be? If not titles, then maybe a new backdrop.
