Has Breakfast got anything special planned for tomorrow? It is 30 years since the first "Breakfast Time" programme after all...

Also the 30th birthday of BBC Radio Devon and BBC Radio Cornwall who will both be marking the occasion.

Certainly no mention of it at the end of today's programme. In fact, the usual post-8.30am schedule was dropped this morning for rolling coverage of the London helicopter crash.

But they did break away from the News channel to continue coverage on their own, which was odd, it meant come 9 oclock, three BBC television agencies were looking for eyewitnesses to talk on air, The news channel in TVC, Breakfast in Salford and World News in NBH.

Not quite. Newsgathering at NBH would have been handling that and supplying the production teams with guests rather than the individual production teams doing that.

Look North Yorkshire have just shown a piece on 30 years of breakfast television. Very interesting to watch it was as well.
