Sian Lloyd?
And YAY for more Steph! Love her.
She's a regular contributor to the News Channel reporting from Wales.

A very good choice IMO - as well as having considerable experience of breaking news OBs lasting hours on end, she's also an anchor on Wales Today, so I imagine she'll do very well on Breakfast.
Have you seen the virtual one that North West Tonight are using???
I'd rather have the BBC keep the more real trees in place than the virtual ones, for the regional news!
Agreed - the NWT tree looks especially daft when you consider it's not entirely a fake newsroom backdrop - it's dominated by images of the Quays, so having a virtual tree plastered over the top looks awful. The Breakfast tree is a bit big, perhaps, but doesn't look obviously wrong in the same way.

Just seen Breakfast's tree for the first time... it is ridiculously big, and stupidly placed, they would have been better having a virtual one, or putting it in the corner.
