It's perfect logic to split the BBC in half like they have. The day will come when the licence fee is no more and it makes it far easier to deal with if things are not all in the same boat. They made no issue of outsourcing all the broadcast facilities to Red Bee, who's to say the BBC haven't considered tendering BBC Sport or other departments out to private companies to run.

They outsourced broadcast because the main role of the BBC is to be a programme maker. They will not sell off programme making departments. Who would buy BBC Sport? How would that even work?

She was excellent today with the dinosaur on the plaza on Breakfast - so funny & entertaining. They didn't have an outside space at TVC which was as flexible as the plaza has been. Plus MediaCityUK and the Quays looked great on camera this morning.

Hmm, you may have forgotten these:

The Blue Peter Garden (whole programme once was broadcast from here)
The Star Terrace
The Stage 6 decking area
The Horseshoe
The Donut
The upper car park
The roof stage 6
The roof stage 3
The roof, East Tower

All TVC locations used by breakfast offering diverse options.

I haven't been a dedicated Breakfast viewer for years and years, but for the last 5 years of watching it almost daily, I can't say I've seen anything more than the Blue Peter garden and the Donut. Haven't been watching as closely as you have.

Also, it seems I've been watching Breakfast more now that it's in Salford!

Two departments which were outsourced a few years ago have recently been taken back in house. The whole outsourcing thing isn't the be-all and end-all, you know.

I never said it was, just said it's a possibility.

I would happily see Adam as a main presenter of Breakfast. Let that be the end to the conversation though before we enter rota territory!

Rico Hizon was better, and didn't look awkward about it afterwards.

Not only that, but the studio was smaller.

Bill talking to the Daily Mirror about moving North, getting guests on the sofa, his morning routine, and guess what, the show is not moving back to London!
