I have to say, while I do enjoy Sally Nugent as a presenter, I really wish she wouldn't launch into her segments in the middle of a thought.

This morning she starts with, "Been here before haven't we!" referring to, I assume, football. Last week I caught her and it was, "No giant hats on the sofa" or something similarly bizarre, relating to some horse racing thing.

Hells bells, PLEASE just start with a "good morning..." and then anything which follows will sound less plosive and jarring.

Haha. I know what you mean. I have actually been watching Breakfast for the last ten days. I found the program generally quite enjoyable and fast moving.

Shall I post my musings in a special report?

I even found Susanna Reid to be rather good, despite my earlier misgivings, which turned out to be rather unfounded and based on Youtube snippets.

Anyway, how are you, Gavin? Long time no hear. X

She's obviously thinking of the people watching a recording, so they don't get confused.

Now Breakfast has settled in Salford for 3 months is there any chance making it look more interesting ?

It does seem to of become very stale with not much in the way of imagination when it comes to the way it looks on television, it had more variation when it was in it's old studio.

I understand there are many senior studio people from London who work on the programme everyday, surely they must have time to be more creative with many aspects the programme or do they just leave after the programme has finished and not bother.

It is very sad to see the way the programme is heading.

That's all very well and good - but most people don't watch Breakfast for lots of interesting camera angles and shots. From our point of view, it'd be nice to see the studio used in different ways - but I don't think it's on their list of priorities. I think it was easier to be adventurous in TC7 because the ceiling was higher and they had a proper jib camera to use.

Roger Johnson returns to breakfast, alongside the Minch

I watched Breakfast this morning, and Roger seemed to do quite well. I've also watched him on NWT, and he has quite a good presentational style.

Perhaps some people object to him because he doesn't do stints on the NC like the other relief presenters, and he is therefore an unfamiliar face?

I wonder whether Ranvir Singh would've been offered the weekend Breakfast gig, if she hadn't jumped ship to Daybreak?

Must you post caps of every single thing? We know he was a relief presenter on the News Channel, we know that Tim Willcox is on today and we know that Roger was on Breakfast today like he often is at the weekend.

Wow! I don't think that comment was required, Drew.

Harry was illustrating that Roger had appeared on the NC - something I wasn't aware of until today, and was in response to my comment.

I'm not sure why you would object to a picture being included in a comment about TV presenters/presentation: it seems rather odd to unnecessary restrict posts to only text for your benefit.
