I've always found that ridiculous. It's not as if normal people are going to tune in and say to themselves "oh no we're all going to die, oh wait the DOG is in the right hand corner, it's just a drama we're fine".

It's possible whoever mocked them up simply didn't have too much attention to detail.

I think that's only the case for the BBC, who forbid carbon copy usage for drama/satire.

It was perfectly adequate on SD!(Because of the local news, I couldn't be arsed swopping from SD to HD & back again!)

Just a reminder, I think Breakfast's move to Salford is due to be covered by Newswatch on BBC News Channel this week on Friday evening, and repeated on Sat morning.

I can't recall Karin presenting Breakfast. She joined the BBC in 2005 from Sky News but I've only seen her on the news channels. Didn't think Breakfast was her thing.

There is some rubbish being spoken by viewers on Newswatch tonight regarding Breakfast in Salford. I can see absolutely no change in the programme bar the set, and I bet if the BBC hadn't told anybody they were moving, they would have been none the wiser. The viewers they've got on here are talking about Breakfast becoming a 'regional' programme because it's from Salford...where do they get these people from??

And as I was writing that, the best from one lady: "I think Sian Williams was much more serious than the new presenters. I just don't think they're good enough, with the exception of Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt." None of them are new presenters, and she's just said that half of them are at least just as good as Sian...
