OK, Gavin. I'll try to do that. But, in the albeit small segment from about 2'17"" to 2'23" (admittedly fleeting), it comes across as all Pouty and Hollywood to me. And if that's what's normally given, me no like. A Corningstone Hollywood head flick.

We may have to agree to disagree. This sort of thing would never have been allowed at Cowcaddens.

You're right: one shouldn't dismiss someone else on the basis of 4 seconds of film. But, I'm just saying.

Does "just saying" excuse crass misogynist behaviour?

She's an excellent broadcaster. She's every bit as experienced and talented as your favourites. I'm not going to 'agree to disagree' because you said yourself you've never seen her work on television - so I'm going to tell you I think you're plain wrong; and I find it pretty outrageous that you'd post this about her.

I'm very sorry. I've clearly offended some people here and it absolutely wasn't intended. It was intended to be a light hearted comment. Nothing more.

I, therefore, retract the comment. (I won't delete it, as it would appear as an immature get-out to do so and will make this apology worthless).

Sorry, all.

Well I appreciate it - and I have to say, you've been something of the "straw" on this camel's back - there's people I don't give much attention to when they do post things - but you I always read (and enjoy).

So all's well then.

Naga has tweeted that she will be presenting from Salford on Sunday with Nick. Louise has also tweeted that weekends will come from Salford.

So I Tweeted Louise Minchin ....
@louiseminchin @BBCBreakfast Are the weekend programmes coming from TVC or MC this weekend?

to which the reply was
@bbcbreakfast MC

So that should answer those with any lingering doubts.

I didn't really notice too much of a difference on screen at first, if I'm honest. Now, looking on YouTube at this performance by Labrinth from earlier this week, all of the limitations are pretty clearly exposed. There really is no hiding that low ceiling height.

Having also taken a quick look at a related clip of Sian's last day, the differences in space (and I think, the resulting feel of the programme) are pretty incredible.

I'll still watch though, so I guess they've got the regionality box ticked and are unlikely to lose viewers.

About the Breakfast presenters rota, if Susana/Bill now do only 3 days and Charlie/Louise rest of the week (4) can we say they are now the ''main'' presenting team? Confused

Personally, I don't feel the need to define a 'main' team or a sub-team, or a part-time team. And by the looks of things, neither does the BBC.

I'm sure I saw on twitter that Louise will only be presenting three days a week, so I suspect it's more a case of there being no fixed presenters on Sundays?

Yes I guess so. But in the previous era with Bill and Sian doing 4 days and being on the show for a decade they were the main faces of it. Now it's changed.
