Have they been using the Christmas close yet? The "really" Christmassy one for today and tomorrow?

On Breakfast, they haven't yet. Today closed with carol singers in Bristol.

I'd really love to see Naga as a regular relief presenter on the national bulletins.

I disagree. I think Breakfast provides a brilliant opportunity to put a little personality into things that's not appropriate - generally - on a network bulletin.

Sian Williams managed to do both without anyone calling her personality into question. It's not as if Naga's personality wouldn't fit the national news, she's presented main bulletins on BBC World News in the past more than adequately.

I don't think anybody is questioning Naga's personality, just suggesting that she has more opportunity to show her personality on Breakfast than on a set piece bulletin.
Custard56, SuperDave and m_in_m gave kudos

The move to Salford though makes them doubling up less likely. Wonder if Bill might return to relief presenting the bulletins once he finishes with Breakfast.

Would be nice to see. Gone are the days you'd often see Bill and Sian present the 6 o'clock news together.

Sadly I don't think we shall see him again on BBC News. I seem to recall he is now freelance rather than a BBC employee.

I was surprised that Breakfast was still on for 4 hours this morning, like a normal Saturday, despite it being Boxing Day. Particularly as they still had the Boxing Day style of a single headed programme.
