James has said Breakfast is now making use of the BBC Three CSO studio which will provide better quality sound. Only applies to Breakfast apparently. We could still see some guests appear on the newsroom balcony position as the CSO studio is on the same floor as studio E whilst the balcony position is on the same floor as BBC Weather and reception.
Saves it going to waste when BBC Three moves online, Which means they no longer need to do the 60 seconds news.
Getting BBC South East on BBC One London/NC. Anyone know why? This has happened before not long ago. ?
...and BBC will put in regional live tv on iPlayer...one day.
The most obvious possible reason is a problem opting (though does London opt during Breakfast? ) or a staff shortage. Most Breakfast bulletins seem to be run on bare minimum staff I think which means anyone being unavailable can cause a problem of cover can't be found.

Next bulletin is also the same. Just thought London being a major region things like this wouldn't happen. Someone is saying they're getting Brighton instead.
"Good morning from the news team in London and the South East."
Considering TW is the closest to London and also part of the commuter belt, it wouldn't be too much of a distraction if they got Ian Palmer to at least say what is happening on the tube?

Was just thinking the same. An apology for viewers in London at the start (as is normally done when this sort of thing happens) would probably have been a better idea than "Good morning from the news team in London and the South East" followed by entirely south east news and weather and no travel news at all.

It does rather suggest that the SE bulletins are compiled the night before, and there's no one available to compile any 'out of the ordinary' stuff in real time
