Christian Frasier with Naga this morning. Either someone's ill or they've messed up the rota and let two people have holiday at once!

I don't follow how Christian being on with Naga suggests two people are on holiday at once?

Louise presenting with Naga yesterday and Christan who has never appeared on a weekday before and generally appears on Sunday's once every few weeks suggests to me that Charlie and Jon Kay are both unavailable.

And Roger Johnson who also appears at weekends occasionally...?

Indeed it was Victoria's first as Roger kept giggling about it.

I think it was Victoria's first non-biz role?

Victoria became a 'News correspondent' for a few months earlier this year taking time away from the Business unit.

How long has Breakfast had 'An Albert+ Sustainable Production' on it's credits alongside BBC News? I dare say it's been present for ages (and possibly already discussed), though I'm normally at work so don't see it.

Not for long. I think it started appearing midway through last week's editions because I remember thinking that it was a rather random day to see it making a debut.

On a slightly separate note, I think Breakfast is due a revamp in terms of titles and set - it's looking tired after over 3 years since the Salford move. Then again, it's doing the job in terms of ratings and it's probably not the right time for the BBC to be revamping programmes, given Charter renewal and all that.

No this is a new addition, new this week I think.

I think one of Breakfasts selling points is that it hasn't changed format or look really since 2000s new titles, graphics, but the same basic theme, same format and same general look serve it well. I think one of GMTV/GMB/Daybreaks failings is the constant changes to try and drive ratings. The morning routine never changes for most and Breakfast does well to stick with this.

That said, I had the pleasure of getting a look around Salford recently and got to see the studio, and honestly it really is the best use of the space they have, it would be difficult to do much else with it given the confines of the studio size they have. The only area which could be made better use of to my mind is the performance area, but if that had standing set it would make for a very cramped space which would be difficult to operate in, as it is the cameras are right back against the wall.

Closing titles made their debut on 8th August - in practice you will usually only see it at weekends when the full closing titles are used, rather than the weekday style of BBC News logo and copyright.

Albert+ is basically a 'green Bafta'; in fact BBC Breakfast is the first and only news programme to have received it, and one of only four productions to have received the top 3-star status

The Albert+ Sustainable Production logo can actually be seen at the end of Breakfast on weekdays as well, next to the BBC News / copyright logo at the end.

Rare appearance from Rachel Burden (of 5 Live) on the Breakfast presenting line-up this morning, alongside Roger Johnson.

Awkward shot of sport presenter (he of imaginary iPad fame) Chris Mitchell caught on camera walking off the Breakfast set after his Sport slot this morning in front of BBC Look North reporter, Sharon Barbour (who was on the sofa discussing emergency services doubling up).
