BBC Breakfast

Not strictly Breakfast related, but Louise has just done a promo section for a new show called "Right On The Money: Live" with Denise Lewis and Dominic Littlewood which is on straight after Breakfast. Unusually, it's coming from the secondary BBC Sport set at Salford, and despite putting some coin vinyls on the backdrop it doesn't look much like a business programme:



Also Tanya Beckett is live from Athens on Breakfast this morning, must have been one of very few appearances since she was a regular presenter years ago. Labelled as a news correspondent!

To be fair, it's being billed as a 'money saving tips' consumer affairs type show rather than a business programme. Given Dominic Littlewood's involved, it'll probably be a dumbed-down affair, a bit like that terrible Rip Off Britain that had Gloria Hunniford in it. I've posted a couple more grabs in this thread.

The News Channel has just dumped out of Breakfast (far too late, in my personal opinion) to join World for coverage of the major breaking news on the Greek bailout. Breakfast was doing a live from a zoo.

Christ, and now Breakfast is showing an extended preview of Victoria Derbyshire's upcoming live show from some Labour leadership hustings. Victoria is at a college in Warwickshire asking two voters about what questions they might ask the potential Labour leaders. News Channel is taking a live press conference by Angela Merkel about Greek debt crisis.


What is it with Victoria and blocking breaking news coverage? She's even doing it on other slots.

Louise and Naga paired up again today. Wonder if we'll ever see Bill & Charlie present together?!

I quite like it when we get different permutations of the regular presenting line-up, such as this. Naga is everywhere this week: Victoria Derbyshire to Breakfast.

Christian Frasier with Naga this morning. Either someone's ill or they've messed up the rota and let two people have holiday at once!

I don't follow how Christian being on with Naga suggests two people are on holiday at once?

Indeed. Naga regularly does Thursday - Saturday. Looks like Charlie Stayt is away this week, though.

Louise presenting with Naga yesterday and Christan who has never appeared on a weekday before and generally appears on Sunday's once every few weeks suggests to me that Charlie and Jon Kay are both unavailable.

She's also been on radio 4 in the last week too!!
