BBC Breakfast

Breakfast have gotten themselves an 'Election Corner' as Bill Turnbull put it - consisting of a couple of new plasmas, some lights on the floor - and weirdly, what appears to be the breakfast bar from the old Oxford set. See caps below:

Interesting to see that Christine Bleakley, formerly of the BBC, will be on Breakfast later to plug her new itv Ireland series.

Good to see Victoria Fritz doing the business segments this morning. Bill and Sally also make a good presenting duo.

All he needs is a gavel and block, and it'll be as if bid tv never left our screens.

Victoria started on Friday, presumably holiday cover for Steph McGovern?

Well that and cover for Ben Thompson while he launches Business Live.

IIRC she appeared also to promote Off The Beaten Track.

I do find it amusing when the Breakfast presenters have to remind their last guest(s) of the day to stay seated as the closing theme plays out, as this morning when Bill Turnbull could be heard instructing their interviewee talking about drones to sit down at the end.

Not sure that Ross Hawkins was that impressed with the set either, to be honest.

This morning's breakfast is on location with Bill & Louise on the 'election sofa' at Chester racecourse. Roger is doing the other headlines from the Breakfast studio. I'm assuming he may also be doing the North West's breakfast updates from the main studio, or just there as backup.

He's not. North West Opts as usual.

Roger has been a busy man today...... Breakfast and then saw him on NWT and the 7:58 NWT bulletin! Will he be doing the late NWT bulletin as well, I wonder?

Did he also do the lunchtime NWT bulletin, by any chance?
