With regional news it isn't uncommon to see the weather forecasters also doing the presenting sometimes- for example at ITV London Robin McCallum presented sometimes, so too does Martin Stew. On BBC look north Keeley Donovan. And I think Wendy Hurrell at BBC London has presented a few times

Keeley Donovan presented the main evening show a couple of weeks ago with Harry and then did the weather at the end of the show as well. Not seem that before.

I think that was a late substitution due to somebody else being ill

Must assume that Louise Minchin has been albeit confirmed in the lead Female presenter role, Significant that her name is missing in the releases surrounding the 5live revamp, considering her recent involvement with the station.

Naga Muchetty seems to be more regular on Breakfast rather than on BBC World News . . . I do hope she becomes the regular to replace Lou as Charlie Stayt's oppo.

Such good news. Naga is a perfect fit for Breakfast - there really wasn't a better person for the job.

Great news, not much of a surprise. Well deserved break for Naga!

Might just be enough to attract me to Breakfast on a Saturday, really do enjoy it when Naga presents. Has Louise actually been confirmed as the lead female presenter?

Yeah, article says Naga 'completes the line-up'.

Press release says that Louise will present Mon-Wed.

They should have sorted out the hodge-podge of Sunday presenters though. That's the real weak link for Breakfast presentation now.

Its not like theres any competition from ITV so it may be cheaper to keep it flexible.

Katherine Downes would be good. Smile
