Replacement will be announced in Autumn. The BBC have said this on their own website. Perhaps thats when Kate Silverton comes back from maternity leave.
No a BBC entertainment journalist speculated in an article on GMB, "later this year" covers a multitude. The BBC said absolutely nothing.
I can tell you now that Kate Silverton has zero interest in the job. Do people not realise that she will have a newborn and a toddler, she clearly won't be travelling to Salford for a half a week. After having her 1st child she cut down on her normal shifts, so why the hell would she be taking on a commitment like Breakfast.
Has Louise been promoted to take Susanna's place and is Naga taking Louise's old slot?

Wouldn't it be marvellous with Sian returned to be reunited with Billy but hey we know that wont ever happen.
Louise is surely the best choice and deserves the promotion. Plus the chemistry with Billy is far far better than with Susanna.

credit to Charlie Stayt for not wisely not really getting involved in BBC Breakfast's attempt to destroy 'Happy'

Well to be fair, I think that was a ploy. When does Charlie Stayt ever look 'Happy'?

I'd love to see Fiona Armstrong on the Breakfast sofa. It'll never happen sadly. She's still IMHO one of the best female relief presenters the news channel had and was on top form, even with her long break away from an autocue.
She was excellent when she covered Breakfast a few times in 2012 and brought a warmth to the show, only the likes of Sian and Louise can/could.

I completely agree with you about Fee Armstrong - marvellous broadcaster! Miss her on Lookaround.

She was actually only on Breakfast the once IIRC (it's my video above) and she was one of the first 'surprise' presenters since the Salford move. I remember looking on Breakfast's Facebook page that day and the usual idiots were complaining that they had nobodies on the sofa who were truly terrible - which probably did her no favours in becoming a regular cover presenter, that is of course if she ever wanted to.
In fact she seems to have quietly been dropped (or left) the News Channel too, she's not been on for ages as far as I know. Julia Somerville got the same treatment a while back.

So lets get this straight, BBC News would not let its journalists do work for the BBC Comedy Show 'The Bubble' for fears that it would damage the Beeb's journalistic integrity and would mean that its journalists would not be taken seriously - yet an odd comedy skit is OK?
While I have no problem with the BBC doing things like this if they want, It does seem like a bit of flawed logic.
