Sunday Morning Live is back on BBC 1 in two weeks time on Sunday mornings. It will be interesting to see if Susanna is chosen to present again.

Potentially more interesting to see who covers for her on Breakfast - if not Louise Minchin, it could be an opportunity to try someone out on a more regular basis.

Ranvir Singh has done the breakfast show on BBC Radio 5 Live at weekends and balances it with North West Tonight duties and It would be a good way to enrol her to the programme ahead of next year if they use her as a relief presenter when the programme moves to Salford, I know Louise is doing Real Rescues but not sure when that ends if it’s still on the week Sunday Morning Live starts I imagine she wont want to do 7 days. There’s always Naga and Kate (but she has a little commitment of her own coming up) but If Susana is going off to do that then I would choose Ranvir.

Just on another note Olly Foster doing the sport this morning and they used Matt Gooedrick last week, I’m probably reading too much into this but could they be trying out people for SQ if Mike takes the main role?

Last year Louise presented The One Show and Weekend Breakfast for 3 Weeks in a row so I don't think it would be a problem!

I think Ranvir does have talent, but when she presents with someone else (as I have said in the NWT forum) she becomes overly giggly and it looks very unprofessional. On North West Tonight, she makes herself look stupid sometimes, with superfluous, inane comments at the end of every report and giggling and laughing uncontrollably at times, to the point of real annoyance.

I personally see Ranvir's future in radio as opposed to television. She would do far better on 5 Live.

Definite no for Kate Silverton; I only had to watch last night's news bulletin on BBC One to realise how much I despise this woman, with her glares, head-shaking and annoying intonation.

I have no problem at all with Louise, she is friendly and very professional. Of course, the best case scenario would be Susanna. She is the most aesthetically-pleasing presenter.

How certain do we think it is on the forum that Susanna will get the main job? I sure hope she does!!

Honestly I think it will come down to who the other female presenter is, rather than Susanna. If they can lure Kate to Salford, I'd imagine she'd become the main weekday presenter. Anyone at all of that 'standing' and they'd get the main job. Anyone less and Susanna will join Bill (a proven partnership, even if it's not Bill and Sian) and find a new up and coming presenter for weekends, much like Sian, Susanna and Mishal before.

I'm not over-reacting, but I would watch the programme far less if Kate Silverton joined. I can barely stand her just filling in for a day. I don't see what the BBC sees in her. She comes over as obnoxious, self-interested and her entire delivery of the news is all about her and her various mannerisms are very annoying. Whatever people say, Susanna would bring in more male viewers if you know what I mean. You only have to look at YouTube comments!

Doubt it will be Kate - if you follow her on twitter she and her husband have recently bought a house in London and she will also have a 6 month old baby at the time of the move.

I can't watch breakfast when Kate is on and categorically refuse to.

She must not get a permenant role or I'm off to Sky(shudder).

Join the club! Someone who shares my views. I would probably switch to Sky as well, never Daybreak, or indeed radio. 5 Live is quite good and has a real mix of everything.

Or BBC Sport's studio (I'm assuming they're having one?)

Think that BBC Sport will have a different mix of facilities in Salford to the current ones at TVC.

Presumably they will need a studio of some sorts that could be pressed into service for Breakfast if it were needed?

I quite like Kate Silverton - but for some reason, she always reminds me of Pipi and Popo, the giraffes from Eurotrash.
