Interestingly she also did some shifts on 'Up all Night' on 5Live the other week too. I think there will be many crossovers between all departments as a result of the Salford move.
She also did the Cricket World Cup and the Boat Race.

I thought someone had already mentioned that Breakfast would be a 7-day-a-week programme, all coming from Salford. It would be quite difficult otherwise for the second presenting team, as Friday would be in Salford, and Saturday/Sunday from N6 in London.
I guess this depends on whether Weekend Breakfast will be in Salford or if it will stay in London as a News Channel production - if it's Salford then there's no reason for Dan not to be in the studio.

Will we see a different array of paper reviewers - some seem to appear almost on rota it seems.

Kate doesn't have a five live show anymore. That finished last month
Oh my apologies sorry.
Kate has a rather 'important commitment' in a few months time.
Just been having a little think about this Salford move and a few questions spring to mind:
1)What are they going to do when one of the weekend presenters is off because Jon Kay is west of England correspondent, Louise Minchen has a hand of other commitments in London , Naga has BBC World in London .
2)Is it just the sport on five live moving or the whole station? If the latter Kate’s going to be down there for her show so would that make her likely to either be the weekend presenter if Susana takes Monday-Thursday or do that herself. Also the likes of Victoria Derbyshire who have done it before would also be able to fill in.
3)Mike Bushill said it’s only to march when he was bidding Dan Walker presenter of football focus farewell from his weekly slot does that mean Sport will be done from the studio rather than down the line if so what will that mean for his NC commitments and will weather and business be done here to.
Also the fact that Newsround is moving does that mean their on air team would have anything to do with the programme?

Could you clarify what you mean? I don't understand what you mean.
Hi House, Basically on the last weekend of the football season Dan as usual joined Mike in the studio. They spoke about it being the last time he would appear in the studio as next season as you know BBC Sport is in Salford. When speaking Dan in gesture pretended to act all upset and Mike then said something like it is only until march and then we’ll all be flogging it down there. Which leads me to assume that the sport will come from the studio which is why I ask what does it mean for his News Channel commitments. I hope that’s a bit more clear sorry for the previous messy post.

Thanks for your reply! I understand what you mean now. I assume Mike is moving with Breakfast, then? I wonder if he'll stick to weekends, or could replace Chris?

In view of the comments made by Chris Hollins, which suggested that he would rather boil his own head in oil than move to the neanderthal north, then you can conclude that his tenure as the sports reporter on BBC Breakfast will come to an end when they relocate.
He'll probably end up doing weather reports for BBC Radio Solent.....

I don’t think he’s a big loss anyway, he clearly seems to think he’s a vital part of the programme but there is mass amounts of BBC Journalists who would give their right arm to have his slot. Mike in my view is excellent at what he does and if he wants it he should get the main weekday Sports slot but saying that bosses may want some familiarity there if they are going to move Susana. I would suggest someone here from the northwest but to be honest there is not many good sport's journalist's . We are treated to Tony Livesey’s inflated ego each NWT sportsdesk his deputy Richard Askam who is also a reporter for Final Score and presented the super league show is passionate and knowledgeable and has a similar style to Mike so I’d maybe give him the weekend role.
