Have Bill and Sian stopped doing Monday's? for the last few weeks I cannot remember seeing them on Monday and It has been Charlie and Susana who have hosted.

Yeah, they haven't been on for about four weeks but two of those Monday's have been public holidays.

It may also be because Bill/Sian worked on the Royal Wedding Day (Friday) and as you say there has been bank holidays so its been longer to get the day back. (Ie. swap on rota).

Sian is off again next monday according to the RT. I wonder if she is doing some other project on a monday? And she probably won't be on the following monday because it's a bank holiday!

Just been having a little think about this Salford move and a few questions spring to mind:
1)What are they going to do when one of the weekend presenters is off because Jon Kay is west of England correspondent, Louise Minchen has a hand of other commitments in London , Naga has BBC World in London .

2)Is it just the sport on five live moving or the whole station? If the latter Kate’s going to be down there for her show so would that make her likely to either be the weekend presenter if Susana takes Monday-Thursday or do that herself. Also the likes of Victoria Derbyshire who have done it before would also be able to fill in.

3)Mike Bushill said it’s only to march when he was bidding Dan Walker presenter of football focus farewell from his weekly slot does that mean Sport will be done from the studio rather than down the line if so what will that mean for his NC commitments and will weather and business be done here to.

Also the fact that Newsround is moving does that mean their on air team would have anything to do with the programme?

I'd imagine they'd use someone already up in Salford; Ranvir Singh of North West Tonight fame for example.

Victoria Derbyshire would be a good choice for a presenter I think; she was good when she presented at New Year - would be good if we could see some more of her this year.

Jon Kay already has to travel from Bristol to London, so he will just be travelling somewhere different. Likewise if they really needed to I'm sure they would send someone up from London and put them in a hotel - would obviously cost but I'm sure the BBC would have that option open to them if required

I guess this depends on whether Weekend Breakfast will be in Salford or if it will stay in London as a News Channel production - if it's Salford then there's no reason for Dan not to be in the studio.

I guess it's possible you might get some more Ellie style crossover, but I see more crossover with Sport - Sonali Shah, Lizzie Greenwood-Hughes and Jake Humphrey being examples of people who have worked for Newsround/Sportsround and BBC Sport at the same time.

Could you clarify what you mean? I don't understand what you mean.

Are you sure about Sonali presenting sport? I know she did some business shifts back when Dominic Laurie was presenting, but I didn't think she'd worked at BBC Sport?

Sonali's been presenting on location for BBC Sport a few times - she did at the Commonwealth Games in India and I've definitely seen her more recently too.

She also did the Cricket World Cup and the Boat Race.
