Some interesting views of TC7 this morning during Breakfast, which have been using the Newsnight desk for an item on scrabble.

They'd changed the LED lighting to red, and there's a view of part of the desk interior, as well as a couple of long shots of the studio.

I like that desk far more than the current eliptical one used on News.

Whilst I'm glad they're using the full scope of the studio, those shots look very messy with the cameras there.

You don't like seeing huge gas lift camera peds and autocue hoods?

What kind of forumer are you?!?!?

etcetera.

Can't remember if this has been asked before, but as regards TC7, what shows use which side of the studio?

(Or which shows share a particular side of the studio?)

If we class the 'Newsnight' side as one side & 'Breakfast' as the other, would that help with describing or is there one show that uses both sides of the studio?

Newsnight use both sides, so no, describing it this way would not help. Though I think only breakfast use one side of the set (normally)?

Yeah, they haven't been on for about four weeks but two of those Monday's have been public holidays.

It may also be because Bill/Sian worked on the Royal Wedding Day (Friday) and as you say there has been bank holidays so its been longer to get the day back. (Ie. swap on rota).
