They didn't have a CGI tree on the Breakfast backdrop for N6 last year did they? I think they ended up using the News Channel backdrop during the festive period.

Yes, I noticed yesterday and today they'd starting using the N6 Breakfast backdrop with a tree. Last year they used the standard daytime N6 backdrop with a tree: I wonder if they didn't bother last year updating the Breakfast backdrop as for most of the Christmas/New Year period they were in the mothballed studio whereas, presumably, this year N6 will be in use for Breakfast for the whole of it.

Last weekend they were definitely using the normal N6 News Channel backdrop with the tree rather than the Breakfast one - so it's good to see they've included one this year.

Some Seasonal Sillyness is promised on Thursday and Friday ...

Looks good - hope its available somewhere to watch later in the day.

At the end of the clip they have used the weird powerpoint BBC One Logo which by now someone should have altered it.

It certainly does look like good light-hearted festive fun.

I've set the tellybox to catch that!

Liam Dutton presenting the weather in N6 this morning - doesn't the weather usually come from the blue/green screen studios?

Also, Bill seeming very lonely in N6 - more so than it used to N8. A shame really - I'm sure Liam's there to provide what little interaction they can.

Yes, it does normally come from the weather centre's studio but since it's christmas coming from N6. Carol presented from N6 last year too.
