For those who like to know what they're clicking before they click on it, it's a video from Breakfast: "A toy dog reduces BBC Breakfast's Bill Turnbull and Sian Williams to fits of giggles after spilling coffee across their desk."

Hey guys

Something small and really quite unimportant, but I was watching at around 8.30 this morning, and after the opt-back from the regions, in the overhead shot which throws over to Bill and Sian we saw the cameras in the studio!

Did any of you guys see this?

Cameras in the studio? Merlin's beard, next you'll be telling me that there is a source of light above their heads or something ridiculous.

I saw the cameras at 630am, after that opt.

BTW who's paying for the damaged dog?

I think it was a crane or jib shot actually, as the camera came in over the top of the other peds and down to the presenters. Rather nice I thought, especially as after 0830 things get a bit more showbiz... oh, and Lorraine starts on the other side...

Good heavens. I haven't seen Sian for ages. But, is she all right? She looks too too too thin in that clip and kinda "strangely" behaving. I think she had too much coffee perhaps!!

Her and Bill were off last week, but I'm sure apart from that she's pretty much presented her usual Monday-Thursday each week since mid-summer.

BBC WORLD won't watch breakfast - overseas TV Forumer, hence the name. Smile

Interesting shot going to the local news just now - the camera went straight back and you could see all the other cameras in the studio then sian standing up to take her microphone off!

Oh and again at 7am just after the graphics and weather!

They've used that (or similar) shot during both into and out of the 9:05 regional news. Clearly a director who really likes it.

I was thinking that when Breakfast moves to Salford, if some presenters don't want to move they should look at Jenny Hull as being one of the presenters.
