North West Today give a short update at the end too.

They always used to, but when I've watched it a couple of times this week the presenter has said to tune to your BBC Local Radio station.

Does BBC London still have the TfL Cameras segment about 2 stories into the bulletin?

Yes. It's a bit odd that London does this and nobody else in England does.

A large amount of London is covered in cameras, especially the vast majority of places where a hold up is likely to happen, and it's quite easy to cover the three or four biggest problems in a short bulletin. On the other hand, BBC East (for example), could only have access to the biggest junctions across the entire region (after all, over 99% of the regions roads will have no camera coverage), and while they could focus on a problem on the M25, the vast majority of viewers won't be interested - it's better to have a long list of problems and read them out, than to focus on the bigger ones that have pictures.

They can only do it for London itself, and hence (as with their news) largely ignore the people in their region who live outside the capital.

Anyone else think it odd that Sarah Pennels has kept her BBC Breakfast saturday "money" slot despite having left the beeb to run her own site some time ago?

Was the rumour that BBC Breakfast would get a titles/graphics revamp in light of Daybreak starting true or has that died of death?

Interesting they had to use 'BBC South Today' brollies on the Reading OB.

Someone forgot the 'Breakfast' brolly?

I'd just like to second this - anyone got any knowledge? It did seem strange to relaunch so soon after the last one - I know it was last year they launched the new titles and graphics, but Breakfast usually holds onto its packages for some time. Wasn't it also meant to become more newsy, if I remember correctly?

Not at all. They are impossible to locate. We had to use the one from the satellite truck which came from Southampton

I know I think its pure speculation due to itvs new breakfast venture and the bbc's forthcoming move to manchester that theres going to be a revamp theres no need as sonn after and is this true and I agree with house that they do hold on to there packages for sometime .

Also Clive and Naga presemted this morning I thought they did well.

The news of a refresh came before news of the Salford move - if anything I suspect it won't now happen because of behind-the-scenes changes taking priority. It may still happen though, I'm not saying it won't.

Not entirely sure how the rumour of new titles, music or sets actually started, but I hate to spoil the fun - there aren't any in the pipeline.

I blame danslink, ginofish, lightoftruth, itvnewsfan or one of their ilk.
