Aren't they a day late with extended bulletins, Look North had to cram all the weather and travel into the usual length slot yesterday morning.

Well it isn't until it hits the south so they take it seriously!

Look East are having problems this morning, as the bulletins are coming from a locked off camera in the newsroom. I'm guessing they're also not using their normal gallery as the clock & astons appear to be missing, though they've still be able to show footage and stills.

That's a little unfair - the snow yesterday was predicted to be an 'extreme weather event' by the Met Office, with up to 40cm possible - far more than Scotland and North West had received the day before.

Mike did it Monday through to Thursday I think, and then Amanda Davies was on yesterday morning.

Who presented this morning's breakfast? We need a bit of change rather than seeing Bill, Sian, Charlie and Susanna everyday.

Why do we need a change? Bill and Sian are the main presenters Monday to Thursday and Charlie and Susanna between Friday and Sunday, therefore those four will of course appear most often. Surely having a bit of consistency is better than having a wealth of inferior presenters popping up here and there and never returning..? In any case, Kate, Louise, Jon and Naga are seen now and again to cover.

Indeed, why break up a familiar and professional team, for the sake of change . With the uncertainties at GMTV the BBC would be crazy to fiddle with Breakfast for at least twelve months following the implementation of the impending changes there.

I think Bill, Sian, Charlie and Susanna are much better than Kate, Naga, Jon etc

Breakfast had the composer for the music from 'Up' on the sofa this morning and showed a couple of clips from the film which looked awful - almost as if they'd been tajen from YouTube. Considering animation these days is extraordinary when watched in HD and is often used in shops to sell tellys because of the high contrast and vivid colours, this couldn't have looked worse.

I assume they chose to grab these clips from a very low quality ftp server or something... rather than acquire a proper publicity clips roll?
