Kate Silverton appears to have got over her recent back problems. Laughing Laughing

They were actually performing an impromptu demonstration of the 'Heimlich Maneuver'.

Is there always a laptop at the side of the desk on Breakfast these days?

Poor Bill - feel sorry for him being crushed like a grape.

In terms of uncomfortable moments between Breakfast co-presenters, it does get worse:

I somehow wonder if Jon Kay will ever be invited back?

Laptop is only there when Kate is there...

Stuart, this cracks me up. How the guest completely takes over the interview and ends up interviewing Kate and Bill. And around 5 minutes in, tells Kate "you're actually still quite pretty, aren't you?" Hilarious. Not pres related, but still worth posting nonetheless.

That was a great interview, Bill & Kate looked exhausted by the end of it! Wink

I noticed Breakfast this morning had the News Channel backdrop, not the Breakfast backdrop like they normally do in N6. Maybe this means the Christmas decorations are real, not virtual...

Why do they dispense with the sofas at the weekend? If anything the weekend is a more informal time and a time for relaxing.

TC7 is used for The Andrew Marr shows on Sunday and I don't think TC7 is used at all on Saturdays (except maybe pre-recorded programmes) so they wouldn't be able to justify opening it up with a separate gallery team just for Breakfast.

When Breakfast used to be N6 they were able to fit the sofas on the left while the baking tray was on the right. I don't know how much space there is now since the April 2008 refit.

I can't imagine they have less physical space given the screens don't seem to have changed. Storage space might be different though! Also, remember the current desk in N6 is a lot larger than the previous one was - less space for a sofa.
