Now if only they'd get rid of that generic office backdrop (lots of people work in offices similar to that, do they really want to be reminded of their work environment at this time in the morning..?) and get a more comfortable sofa, it might start to look more like a breakfast show and less like a stuffy business programme.

Chris, just for my confirmation - are you referring to Nick Owen (ie former TV-am Nick Owen of Anne and Nick fame) or Nick Owen (as in Nicholas Owen formerly of ITN News)? Sorry to be such a pedant, but I can't access Breakfast from here and I can't imagine Nicholas Owen (ITN) doing Breakfast whereas the other Nick is - of course - an old hand on the sofa.

Nicholas Owen was fabulous on Breakfast this morning, an absolutely pleasure to watch! More of that please.

I don't but I do like his style. He's much better than some of the other male presenters the show was using recently. I do think Bill Turnball is the best and like Charlie Stayt but some of the others that were used recently weren't very good in my opinion.

Anyone know if he'll be on tommorow?
