I know this is the wrong thread anyway, but what's 'confusing' about Martha Kearney presenting Newsnight? She's it's former Political Editor, a former regular relief presenter, and still presents Newsnight Review from time to time. I'd say Robinson and Sopel are the more unusual choices.
I'm confused about there chose of her as she usually appears on newsnight review and I would think she would do Friday. Jon wouldn't be an unusual choice as he does the politics show and BBC news, not sure about nick.
They really should fix the endboard of the titles. Far too much plain white, and the word "Breakfast" clashes with the globe graphic. I really like the titles and the graphics until you get to the endboard.
It does actually make an appearance elsewhere - like here.
It's essentially the print version of the logo - it gets used in the Barcos at the top of the 0830 menu, shouldnt really appear full screen at any time.

I think it was probably the first thing that came to hand yesterday. A promo was being played out in sound only (the screen was black) and then this graphic was faded in with the promo audio continuing to play for the last 5 or 6 seconds of it just before the TOTH. I expect they had to complete the play out of the promo because this was just after the regions opted back in and I guess some regions may have chossen to opt out of the promo for 30 seconds of extra regional stuff.
Who's presenting tomorrow then? I would imagine it being Susanna or Naga. I wonder if Kate will leave exactly when Sian returns...
Hopefully!!
Kate is all right but I hate the way she reads the news, the emphasis is all in the wrong place. Susannah Reid is far more assured. They shouldn't have too many relief presenters though as I think the programme loses its identity.
