yes the black clock is definitely wrong, hardly a "breakfasty" colour choice. i'm concerned that the whole colour scheme doesn't suit a breakfast programme, looks very serious and cold. I think the edge perhaps if the clock colour was warmed up a bit i'd like it more.
I see what people meant about Strictly Come Dancing - they've turned the earth's core into a mirror ball!
But yes, the studio background is better and the music is punchier. Not keen on the raspberry red/pink/purple colour scheme though. Looks a bit too sickly sweet and in-your-face for Breakfast.
Moving the clock to the left works better when handing to the regions, as previously the clock shifted. If only their website would get updated to the wide format and not using the old layout.
Overall, I think it's worked well. The tweaked music and the backdrop are great... much better than that horrible orange backdrop that used to greet us every morning.
Only thing that doesn't work as well IMO, is how the 'BBC Breakfast' segment on the graphics appears to the right of the clock... just doesn't look right to me.

So much better! The studio feels that more open with the new backdrop, rather than presenters stuck in front of those squares. A nice variation too, ratehr than the usual newsroom but with orange instead of red.
Titles are good, they seem quite short but do the job & feel more pacey than the slow ones before. Great job!
I know nowt about presentation but surely this would look better if the bbc news, bbc breakfast and clock graphics all lined up?
